Grier is an important link throughout.

IIRC, author (whilst with bank) of the floating charge for Sir Duped in 1999

Advisor to CW pre and post takeover (2010/11)

Employee of MCR taken over by Duff and Phelps

He was present at the meeting (Charlotte Square, Edinburgh) during the administration process that saw Clark and Whitehouse speak to SDM and McGill.

He is not an employee and that is the crucial part. Partners cannot hide and play ignorant.

Looks like he is fucked, which is nice.

It is understood the men being held following probe into takeover of #rangers are David Grier, Gary Withey, David Whitehouse and Paul Clark

From the sun's twiiter handle.

Whitehouse and Clark being detained makes this very interesting indeed.

Doesn't help us in the here and now though.

Yes, a partner, my mistake.

Doing a Kevin Keegan impression as I give it.... (if charged and found guilty) "I'd love to see him in a cell with horny Big Winston" :D

Don't remember anyone offhand but my memory ain't............

I'm the same :) but I could have sworn that I read something about someone being questioned last week. His name hasn't been revealed - probably delibarately, in order to lead on to this today.

I could well be talking nonsense though !! :)

if indeed Whyte's takeover is proven fraudulent where does that leave the Scottish football authorities with their punishments i.e. withholding prize money, transfer embargo, demotion to thirds division etc etc ?

That will depend on greens takeover being fraudulent I expect.
