With all this farce, you do wonder how King and Easdale would ever get - not to speak of working - together again. "FC Hollywood" springs to mind. You almost wish that someone like Ashley or Kennedy takes over, if only to throw all the bampots out.

The attempted smearing and bad mouthing of Dave King is exactly the same type of nonsense that we were hearing from the Rangers board (especially Somers & Easdale) and Toxic Jack when they were attacking McColl & the requisitioners a year ago.

The cheeky bastards and their PR rats then try to spin it into a story about the Club being under attack by the Rangers men and some of the more gullible people in our support lap it up.

Someone not looking after themselves but instead rangers needs to take over asap. Really doesn't matter who.

You did note that I do not exactly disagree with your assessment? The only (!) thing that disappointments me about King is that he goes public in the way he does. He sure has to say words and state facts, the way he does it plays too much into the hands of Toxic and Co. though. It should not be done at their level.

Louden Tavern tweeting that King is meeting Ashley in London this week.

Lets hope the Easdales' self-preservation under King ploy has infuriated Ashley and he cuts a deal. Obviously it would still be highly favourable to him - something like "You run the football side and put in all the money, I'll take the proceeds from all merchandise and free advertising in perpetuity but it's either that or I sell the ground, your choice, Dave".

That would still be a huge step forward from where we are, however bad it sounds.

PS Where is the tweet - I can't see it?
