If Jackson wanted to please the Celtic-minded, he wouldn't be writing articles like the above.

The Celtic support wants Ally to be given a ten-year contract with a ten-year option. The last thing they want is to see the subject of him leaving Rangers raised.

They are worried that we might actually bring in a good manager.

A 'good manager' will want funds to bring in new players to at least give us a chance of promotion via playoffs.

Not sure that's possible at present

A good manager could win this division without bringing in any new faces. We should not be employing anyone whose intention is to bring in players to reach the playoffs.

The division must be won. Nothing less will do.

A good manager would see the extensive resources we currently have and win the title as well as make a proper fist of the three domestic cups. A squad of over 30 first team players and numerous international footballers, hall of famers, record goal scorers, club captains, leaders, We have a great chance here to make history. The quad was on, Ally staying ensures we only end up with 1 useless mickey mouse cup.

Even that is debatable.

We are not going to win this division now. You have to realise that.

If anything Hertz will increase their 9 point lead as opposed to us reducing it.

Our only hope for promotion is playoffs where we'd face an improving Hibz side who have already won at ibrox

Alloa and Livingston in our way, imo that one is in the bag. Not even he can mess that up. Surely! :)

Alloa have proven twice already this season that they can get a draw against us in the league, so it's down to our management team and players to collectively figure out where they've went wrong and put Alloa out of the Cup.

Any manager with your attitude won't win it. That's why we need a manager with a more positive frame of mind who has the ability to get this squad over the line in first place.

It will not be easy but it is far from impossible.

I know you are slightly pessimistic Rab, i am too but saying the league is over in November is nonsense mate. 9 points is nothing.
