When will this McCoist induced nightmare end?

Recommended Posts

We the support have to consider the role we ourselves have played in allowing things to reach this stage.

When you have an omnishambles from top down, it isn't a surprise that what is below it is dysfunctional.

Yes, we could change the manager and improve but the fundamentals are flawed. Until this club sorts itself out at the top, we won't get back to where we want to be.

A change in the dugout, of course............. but push for a change upstairs in whatever way you can because until it happens in a positive way, we'll be revisiting 'relative failure' repeatedly and gradually fade away as a 'force'.

when you add this result to the U20s getting thrashed by Celtic, it suggests that the whole football department needs gutted.

Disagree. Look further down the "football department" at Rangers and you will find excellent youth coaches, coaches that CARE for the Club and would walk on broken glass for the club. Coaches who have proven themselves to be successful against peer groups (Celtic, Dundee Utd etc) and who deserve nothing but credit.

If, by "football department" you mean the seniors and pro contracted players then I would agree. Clear the whole lot of them out. McCoist, Durrant, McDowell, Sinclair, Kirkwood, Durie - get rid of them all. In fact, give some of the guys who are showing success with the younger boys an opportunity to coach at the slightly older age groups.

As elfideldo said yesterday - our U14's and 15's are a very talented bunch and, having personally seen the U10's and 11's, I would say the same of those groups - only one or two groups it seems before hitting U17 are not at the top in the country. So not the whole set up needs ripped apart.

put the s#*v on notice and gardening leave. that way we just have to keep paying his monthly salary rather than the whole whack up front. bring in someone on about 200k. tell the monkeys they are working with the new guy and if they don't cooperate sack them (legally) This costs us money but the consequences of not getting up will cost a hoor of a lot more.... either that or micro manage him until he sickens of it and effs off into the sunset. He's fast becoming as unpopular as the international bandit , Craigie boy ....

maybe what happens on the pitch is irrelevant to what is coming next.

That's the worrying thing.

There's still no news from the chancers & clowns running the Club about where they're going to find the money to pay the wages & bills even just for the next couple of months never mind for the rest of the season.

Their silence is deafening, so clearly the poor results are taking a lot of heat off of them just when they need it.

It will end when the " we love ally he's a legend" brigade finally get the finger out their arses and finally admit that Ally is well out of his depth.

He does not have what it takes to manage Rangers football club, or any team for that matter.
