Norman Crighton leaves board with immediate effect

Recommended Posts

How much did Laxey pay per share? Did they get them on the cheap or did the pay full price?

I think they bought most of them on the market (some before the IPO at a higher price of £1 each) and took up more from the recent Open Offer. They did obtain 1% of their holding from Green though.

It would be interesting to know their average cost per share, just out of curiosity :D

Is it possible that he has gone before the AGM to protect his reputation ? Having a basket case like Rangers on your CV is not going to endear you other companies looking for non Execs.

Too late for that I'd have thought.

Jackson suggesting to me on Twitter that he was voted off by the rest of the board.

Dont we called that a "Harris-ing" these days ?

:seal:

Very good !!

'Harrisment' seems to inevitably lead to change

Could be mate - but I don't think Crighton was necessarily on much with us ? £40k a year I think ??

Something like that, but some key full-time staff who've been with the Club for years have been made redundant, so a non-exec who gets paid circa £40k pa + expenses for a attending a couple of board meetings and match days a month could easily be deemed an unnecessary expense if Ashley's men are taking a machete to the Club's staffing costs.
