It's unlikely that McDowall, who was essentially the main tactical man in the management team anyway, will make any changes of genuine note.

In recent weeks, despite dreadful results and performances, we've made next to no team changes and certainly none to the squad barring injury or suspension. As such, I'd be astonished if that changed.

In any case, who do we bring in anyway?

First game in charge the Saturday against Hibs. What changes do you expect him to make?

I'd hope for a more fluid and creative middle to front link or at least an effort towards it.

If not possible through personnel, via a new shape.

Obviously an important game, so it will also be interesting, what degree of conservatism he will employ.

Being part of the Rangers management team for the past 6/7 years would suggest it will be Conservative with a capital C.
