I'm sure it could happen under the correct circumstances.

 

I just can't explain how else the players and management team have given up.

 

Only other possibility is that the players have all been told they are being off loaded and McDowall clearly doesn't want to be the manager in any circumstances (I'd guess from his manner) but especially these.

I will say it again. McDowall doesn't want his job. Durie doesn't want his. Durrant doesn't want his. And McCoist doesn't want his current position. The board IMHO were well aware of that before they made the appointments. I'm convinced they are trying to sicken them so much that at least one of them walks.

I said that when Whyte's delight at D&P being appointed was reported. The vicious cycle was inevitable from then on. We'll have had a few managers by this time next year. Warnock, Wise, Kinnear....
