Quite apart from the fact that the good guys may still not have 50% of the existing shares, the fans groups need lots of cash to avoid being diluted in any future share issue. It's never going to happen anyway. To be honest I would like to see King just buy us outright and formulate a long term, strategic plan for our future. Ashley for example....what if he bought us outright ! Fan ownership is the only way forward for all our teams........and you know what, I reckon our new custodians know that fine well It's only a matter of hours ago I was reading a fellow fan saying on facebook that Ashley was our only hope and we must let him win....it's not like this is an isolated incident. There were plenty of our supporters wanting to keep Ally as manager. Plenty fans thought McDowall was a good appointment. If our fans were in charge there's a huge risk that some rocket would be appointed as CEO. I don't think a shared ownership structure works, you need someone to take control.
