Always Remembered

RANGERS remembered those who lost their lives in the Ibrox Disaster 44 years ago this morning during a short memorial ceremony outside the stadium.

A wreath was placed at the foot of the John Greig Ibrox Memorial Statue on Edmiston Drive as the club paid its respects to the 66 Light Blues fans who perished on this day in 1971.

There will also be a minute of silence prior to kick off at tomorrow's match against Dumbarton.
