Its hard to get overly excited about the lad leaving, but the few games he did play at the start of last season, he looked much better than Foster has at any point.

We would have been better giving him a run for the best part of a season to see if he can cut it, and at least make letting him go an informed decision.

I presume that he would have had a valid contract, so can only imagine that this then required the club to pay of the remainder of the contract? As the right back position has been a disaster this season, it makes absolutely no sense. Why not give him a run until the end of the season and then be in a better position to evaluate Kyle's potential. After all, he could hardly play any worse than Foster.

The guy is 22 in a week, yet another player kept well far too long for no reason. Either play him or release him when it's decided he has no future. Our youth policy is essentially a way to make up the numbers, then if the odd gem comes along that's a side bonus.

We should know by 18/19 at the very latest if players have a future and if so they should be getting regular games by then.
