Hilarious to think the SFA could even consider barring anyone from holding a directorship at any club after they did sweet FA when Whyte got Rangers. And they were well warned by a number of people about Whyte at the time were they not? Acertain Paul Murray amongst them IIRC?

That argument is nonsense. Also, the rules at the time, which were a joke, have been changed since that time. Unless King and Murray have been given private reassurances that there will be no bar to their bids, they are embarking on along a dangerous, and potentially embarrassing path.

rab used to say the same thing about king not being allowed a role.

in truth it doesn't matter he can just go on the club board and run us from there.

or he will have friends to run us like mike ashley.

whole thing is a red herring.

The last thing that is needed is more farce. King can't threaten forensics looking into past misdemeanours only to then have himself take on the Sandy Easdale shadow role. As I stated, if they have provisional clearance from the authorities, all will be well.

The SFA dont have any ridiculous powers perchance in their articles of association that could be used in the forthcoming disciplinary that could possibly hurt the incumbent board and stop them securing Ibrox ?

Also, what about Scottish government intervention to prevent such an outcome ?

Are you happy with Sandy Easdale's role? If not, you really can't advocate King pulling the same stunt.

Totally different, although his vat avioidance is near the bottom of the reasons why I don't want Easdale as a director.
