so we'll get all these guys from Newcastle

we'll blow away all opposition

we'll see how Ashley has saved the day

and everyone will vote for the current board at the EGM

is that how it works ?

Possibly but I doubt it, I think the shareholders are too smart for that.

SFA unamused by tonight's Sports Direct bulk Ibrox delivery. Suspect it will be considered as an 'aggravating factor' by judicial panel.

I doubt they can do a lot about it other than it being more proof that Ashley is the grandmaster ventriloquist.

Rangers have signed five players from Newcastle United on loan until the end of the season.

Gael Bigirimana, Shane Ferguson, Kevin Mbabu, Remie Streete and Haris Vuckic have all made the move to the Ibrox club as Kenny McDowall looks to bolster his squad.

Vuckic has been at Newcastle United since 2009, spending time on loan at Cardiff City and Rotherham United. The Slovenian was regarded as one of European football’s brightest talents as a youngster, having trials at AC Milan before making the move to the Premier League.

The attacking midfielder has one international cap to his name - in a 1-1 friendly draw against Scotland in 2012 - having represented Slovenia at under 17, under 19 and under 21 levels. However, Vuckic has made just three appearances for Newcastle this season.

Bigirimana first broke through at Coventry City at 17-years-old, earning himself a move to Newcastle in 2012 for a fee believed to be in the region of between £500,000 and £1 million.

The England under 20 international has since made 13 appearances for the Magpies, scoring his first goal in a Premier League win over Wigan Athletic in December 2012.

Mbabu has only been at Newcastle United for a year, having signed for the North-East club in the last January transfer window. However, the Swiss defender has failed to make any real impression at St James’ Park and is yet to even make an appearance for the Magpies.

Streete is a 20-year-old defender who was highly rated by former Magpies boss Alan Pardew. However, the Newcastle United youth product suffered a number of injuries and has struggled to recover, making just two appearances in a loan spell with Port Vale that ended in November.

Northern Irishman Ferguson broke through at Newcastle in the 2012/13 season, becoming something of a first-team figure under Pardew. However, the left-back - who has earned 18 international caps - spent 18 months on loan at Birmingham City as he struggled for game time in the North-East.
