You really have to hand it to Ashley. He loans the club money to pay off his pre-existing debts, pay for his own players and enhance his onerous contracts. Yet still remains hugely popular with a chunk of our support.

It's like he's trying to see just how many times he can fuck us over. He has spent peanuts and controls everything.

I don't know any Bears who think Ashley could be good for us.. especially after the last few months

I'd imagine the real reason any online "bears" would show support for Ashley is that Ashley is against King, and King is perceived to be in cahoots with other online bears that fist set of said bears dont like

Pathetic bastarts

Ashley COULD be good for us if the focus was on improving the team/club.....however, MA's focus is 100% on MA & Sports direct.

Being the 293rd riches man in the world, he obviously has the finances to rival many of the big English clubs, but he ain't about to "gift" us £100m+ to improve things.

Did our (caretaker but doesn't want to be there) manager have any say on these players being brought in?

You would like to think that KMcD was asked what positions he felt most needed strengthening and Carver was then asked who he could do without; and it went from there, but I have my doubts.

On the other hand it's hard to believe that the five were picked totally at random as being surplus to requirements.

If Newcastle are paying the wages then one would suspect Rangers are paying the accommodation. Aird needs someone to share now that Macleod is away.

That's like saying Charles Manson COULD be a good guy if he weren't a sociopathic murderer (sorry about the analogy... :P) - it is absolutely hypothetical that Ashley would look out for our best interests. He has proven time and again that it will always be about Mike Ashley.

ANYONE "could" be good for Rangers if they focused on the club's best interests - we really still are just awaiting the right leadership to spark us back to life.

That's what I was going to say. Anyone could hypothetically be good for us. In fact I would say Ashley is one of the last people on earth who could.
