Liam Kelly to them

He may well go there but why would any young player want to stay at the club?

We are a shambles on and off the park, Kelly has no chance of getting anywhere near the first team and would be best advised to get out for his own sake.

Rumours that Hardie wants out too.

That's the long and short of it.

We train and recuperate a £9m keeper in Gordon then let him go to Celtc for nothing and sign up Simonsen. Bell gets injured and young Kelly goes "this is my chance", then we go and sign Lee Robinson (no harm to him) and Kelly goes further down the pecking order.

The management look at players ages before ability or potential and we are now in a position that this summer, we will (BIG IF!) be going back up to the SPFL with a team averaging over 30 who are mostly out of contract.

Walter always worried about bringing youngsters into a losing side. Worried about the damage it would do their confidence and worried about the consequences of them ballsing up when it was usually so close between us and Sporting Leprechaun. But so many of our senior players have been so poor so consistently for so long that I don't think either of those motivations apply (of course, McLeod did play regularly so perhaps not enough of them are good enough)
