Today's Glasgow Airport Action: New comments from Llambias and King

First up Derek Llambias asks Dave King to show us the money (and NOMAD):

Dave King also due to land this afternoon.

Being appointed to the Board (delayed for now) doesn't mean that King should have to show anyone the money. He has already invested money in purchasing shares (sadly he had to do it on the open market as the Board refused an open share offer) so he has already shown his money (again, sadly, it didn't go into the Club coffers).

How about "Mike Ashley, show us the money" - Oh wait, Ashley did show us the money - he provided us with LOAN funding with securities attached (as well as the vast majority of merchandise profits). So, Derek, who is really risking more here ? King who has a larger shareholding than your paymaster Mike, or paymaster Mike who has everything but the kitchen sink tied up and almost guaranteed to not lose a penny.

Derek, Fuck off, and do it now. (sorry for the colourful language, but I do believe it is merited in this instance).

Dave King watchwords: Transparency and accountability after EGM. 'Very excited' to take club forward.

Dave King: We will judiciously narrow existing substantial gap between us and Celtic.

Dave King: Lots of 'discussion and negotiation' ahead with Mike Ashley and Sports Direct. 'Couple of tough years' ahead.

Dave King: 'Ready' for challenge even though it may be a 'daunting' one as club is 'broken'. Plans 'to hit ground running'.

Dave King: Reckons they're 'way above' 50% of vote for tomorrow. 'Humbling' experience to achieve backing of majority of support.

Dave King: Fans have watched people 'play games' with club and deserve credit for their contribution to regime change.

Dave King: It will be a long road but one we can travel together.
