Kenny wants Ally back

Recommended Posts

McDowall also said he wants Durrant back as first team coach even though Durie is doing a "wonderful" job. The dream team + Durie - aargh!!!

Makes me feel sick even thinking about this combination of 'coaches' :(

Past form suggests Ally would easily attain 2nd place, but has a 50-50 chance in big games - so likely to win the semi and lose the final for the play-offs...

Past form has Ally's team being outplayed by Hibs twice.

Won one, lost one. For promotion it's the results that count. In any case, Man U lost to MK Dons 4-0, who would you bet on, if they meet again? 1 or 2 games are not much to base things on.

Actually, looking again since Ally took over and he won the series 4-1.

Eh? Hibs have beaten Rangers twice in the league this season under McCoist, and once under McDowall. We managed to beat them in the League Cup at the beginning of the season but were far from impressive.

Kenny would be my ultimate last choice.

Ally would be my ultimate second last choice.

But if it's between the two then obviously Ally wins, not as the better manager, just as the less worse one.

DK said the other day words to the effect that Ally & McD have decided they do not wish to be part of the club going forward. Could be that was DK nailing it right there, no way back for Ally.

There seems to be very little substance in the story, certainly nothing worthy of the article's title.

He was asked a leading question like "would you like Ally to come back" and dealt with it as diplomatically as possible.

Since nobody has put their name to the article I'll file it under mischief making from Pacific Quay CSC.

But would you bet against it?

It would be a cost effective solution for KingCo and since they appear to have given up on promotion they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
