Stuart McCall poised to become Rangers boss on a short-term deal until the end of the season. Talks have taken place he's yet to say yes.

Help us get promoted and then thank him with a nice handshake and a bonus and back to work as a pundit, or incentive for McCall is it possibly propels himself into another managers job elsewhere if he does well.

I really hope it's true and that the change happens immediately because Kenny McDowall is killing everyone's regime change buzz in parallel with absolutely destroying our chances of promotion and bringing back Ally McCoist from gardening leave is simply not an option worth considering because it would be extremely unpopular amongst the support.

I can't see him taking this on without some kind of promise for the future, even if only Assistant.

Reports that McCall will be appointed manager until the summer. McDowell remains assistant.
