I watched the video from the link and they show white socks. But then Frankie says they aren't. Perhaps there are two colours?

There will most probably be three types. Red/black, white and red.

Sons of Struth plea to Rangers fans: Don’t buy new tops unless board can loosen Mike Ashley’s vice-like grip

SUPPORTERS’ group tells fans to hold off buying merchandise until new board broker better retail contract.

RANGERS fans have been urged not to splash out on the club’s new home kit unless Mike Ashley loosens his grip on the club’s retail wing.

The Ibrox outfit launched next season’s Puma kit earlier today - just 24 hours after interim chairman Paul Murray and director John Gilligan held showdown talks with Ashley and his Sport Direct top brass.

Murray and Gilligan are attempting to persuade the Newcastle owner to give the club a fairer deal on the sale of official merchandise, after it was calculated that Rangers pocket around 75p from every £10 spent on their own goods.

And now protest group Sons of Struth are calling for fellow fans to postpone buying the new look shirts until the board make public the final result of the on-going discussions with Ashley and his camp.

In a statement from founder Craig Houston said: “Many fans are looking for guidance on buying or not buying the recently launched home kit.

"As covered by many media outlets, the board have started discussions with Mike Ashley and Sports Direct regarding the current merchandise deal. SoS are happy to accept that, due to no club statement, these talks are ongoing.

“The current deal is obviously, from latest accounts, not in the best interest of the club and SoS are happy to accept the current directors will attempt to gain a better deal for our club during these discussions.

“We understand fans have lost trust with Ashley, his appointed directors and Sport Direct and we would recommend a new deal which is fairer to Rangers as this would go some way to restore sales to a normal level and be mutually beneficial.

“We fully understand the need for our partners to make profit from such arrangements, however, we do not feel that the current arrangement is fair. Fairness is the least we should accept from a business partnership that can potentially be fruitful for the other party.

“With the obvious ongoing discussions we would ask fans to consider holding off any kit purchases until the talks are concluded and we will then be in a better position to judge if the agreement is in fact a fair deal for our club.

“Our understanding is the discussions are ongoing and should be concluded swiftly therefore fans should not be required to hold back for long.”

It’s not the only boycott Ashley faces. More demonstrations and fans staying away are expected at Newcastle’s home game against Swansea on Saturday.
