EDIT ...

Rangers chairman Dave King sets out his vision for the club's future

Rangers chairman Dave King is to set out his vision for the future of the Ibrox club.

The South African-based businessman will answer questions from journalists as he launches the club's season ticket renewals campaign for the 2015/16 season.

King finally took to the club's throne last month after chasing the former Gers board out of Ibrox in March.

He has previously stated he believes it will take around £30m to put Rangers on a level-footing with rivals Celtic and has promised to provide 50% of the funding as he seeks to restore Rangers to their previous dominant position.

You can watch the media conference live on this page from 2.15pm, with updates from STV Sport.

Didn't think we would have a manager announcement today...

Got a feeling that we'll not find out much more than we already know from King's earlier pressers with regards to club strategy. Ever the optimist though, what I want to hear are the deliverables he is working on, and a timetable for them...

It's stupid in every context

However, he did write "the" not "a"; the definite article making it refer to a specific set (and a rvery obvious set in context) rather than "any" as the indefinite would have indicated.
