Scottish Teams in Europe 2015-16

Make that West Ham Reserves. They only had Nolan and Jenkinson from the first team. Looks like they are putting their eggs into one basket and concentrating on the league only.

Yeah, just checked their line-up. The EPL might be the 'best league in the world' but the fans of West Ham must be pretty p*ssed off tonight.

Well Id say mixed. West Ham have to stay in the Premier League this season so going into the new stadium they have top flight football. We know what this Europa Cup can do to teams and Everton were in a relegation battle last season until they got knocked out so a lot of Hammers will be Happy they are out and don't have the Thursday Sunday games. A few called Talksport after the game and said its a good thing. A run in Europe is nice but until they are settled and have a squad capable of playing both they will wait. A new manager is in and trying to embed new players and a new style, that could take time and cost points.

So the second best team Scotland had to offer was poorer than the second best KAZAKHSTAN had to offer. You're left wondering just which leagues are not superior to Scotland. As usual the Scottish game is reliant on a very poor Celtic side trying to keep the co-efficient up. Once again though they will most likely get dumped out at the first sight of anyone remotely half decent. It won't be long before a Scottish side reaching the CL group stage is about as likely as winning it.

They will get put out.

Out of the 5 teams they could have drawn I thought on paper Malmo were the toughest, but since I know nothing about any of them then I could be wrong.

Swedish sides always pose a problem for anyone.

Well, the Scum started off rather well tonight, getting 2-0 in front within 10 mins. Their ex-player pulled one back for Malmö, ere Griffiths scored his second. Up stepped that same ex-player and scored in the 95th to make it 3-2 at the end. A one-goal lead with two away goals for the Swedes. But Scum FC have a knack of defending narrow leads, as they done in the last round ...

*I reckon the mhedia and the usual suspects will be scathing at the amount of injury time ....
