So we have to be patient because they are working hard with loads to do mmm how can you do that without a plan to adhere to? Working at what with what? Kind of hard to install new infrastructure without securing the necessary funding via first identifying the costs.

Sounds more like those on here want or expect no fan consultation and us all just to nod our heads in agreement 3 years down the line when everything is done and dusted.

No wonder all the thieves before kept banging on about being gers fans it seemingly gives you free reign.

If you can't ask questions or make demands while those in charge are setting the plans and laying the foundations don't start crying years from now about what could have been.

To say trust the board to set us on the correct path with zero input or questions is complete madness. We need better than before.

Can anyone explain why we have only one open gate friendly that is on a Tues night at 7.45 at a time when we not only need to encourage st sales ,but also only have enough available cash to shop at the bottom of the market while desperately needing a new squad? Why should I trust that's a good idea or the best we could Do?

Assuming you are referring to me (bold assumption...) please read what I posted. I stated why I PERSONALLY am giving them time - but also have no issue with those who decide not to. It has been a long and rough road we have travelled already - if we weren't naturally cynics then we wouldn't be doing our job as supporters, especially given what has happened over the last 3 years.

I copied this from the poster Ibrox preacher over on RM , I couldnt agree more .

Mr Warburton hasn't signed enough players and of a high enough standard according to some.

Look at it like this - Hearts romped this division by dozens of points with a "bank book like Greece", a new manager, half the youth team, a host of free's from around Europe and loans from similar fields. The were up against ourselves and Hibs yet did the job with ease.

I put it to the doubters that our finances are ok, we have a more experienced manager of a better caliber, we have "youth" on a par with anything Hearts had/have, we have signed someone for money, we have signed some free's, we are aiming to sign some more free's but only when they prove themselves on trial, we will no doubt be looking at more free's and loan's. Hibs couldn't get the better of our failing team when it mattered and St Mirren are running on empty promises. Should we be having a fit at this point all things considered? Bear in mind where we were and the financial-mismanagement at the club. If you believed Dave King was going to buy £5M players for the Scottish Championship with his own money then you'd have my sympathy for being simple and for not seeing the club match your ambitions but the reality is this division has next to no financial rewards and players of quality wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, the slowly - slowly- catchy monkey approach here is the way to go. We want to to the job well but in a fashion which is financially sensible. Why sign big earners for this division and run the risk of finding out they're gash in the top flight? It's possible that would happen, it's happened how many times to us so far?!

We could have offered a contract to the boy on trial, but despite our lack of signing progress the manager said "we want a longer look at you", by doing this he's said without saying 'don't get silly with the demands son we aren't sure about you for the Scottish Championship', 'ok if this boy had anything better on the table he'd have walked', 'we want to make sure the people we look to bring in are 100% right for us and we won't be desperate nor rushed in confirming our happiness with these players coming in'. Surely these are good things?!

We're half way towards a spine having been signed, there's one or two known to be on the radar, we will surely be looking at loans in London when we're kicking about with Tottenham with evidently no interest in a friendly cash boost. Judge the man on what he achieves not on his apparent lack of desperation in signing players at half a million plus in the Scottish Championship!

Strangely and worryingly, the stadium seating plan for buying season tickets online doesn't reflect the numbers we've been hearing at all. There's absolutely no way it's showing 25k+ seats taken.

we are not signing players for the championship as the players have said themselves ,that's why they are getting 3+ year deals. They are players for promotion and europe, they are also for the cup runs this year.

Any money spent is with future resale in mind and also should be of a standard to play next year if we go up. There is absolutely no reason to not sign them now if the money and players are available. We would still make returns if being prudent while setting better quality foundations and increasing commercial incomes.

We have no idea why those on trial have not signed yet they could be weighing up offers or negotiating contracts or wanting more money than we can offer but are willing to wait and see what other offers they get. That or the players might not be of the standard warburton ideally wants but maybe the best on offer today until other interests are clarified. Nobody knows.

measuring ourselves or signings against the standard hearts or hibs have/had is quite frankly a disgrace. we should not be shopping in the same market as them with the same outlooks or wanting to be anyway shape or form on a comparable standard. We should always demand the best we can get not just enough to get by on the short term. Next season we lose another 3 or 4 players and now have 3 signings contracted for 3 years that are unlikely to be anywhere good enough to challenge them or qualify for group stage europe(where the money is). That's not sensible its short termism at best. Every other team out-with(historically) the old firm have for years followed this same transfer policy ,why would we be able to achieve better with the same? All this transfer policy will bring is a standard achieved by the likes of aberdeen and the rest of the no marks who fail to qualify for europe every year

how is it financially sensible to rely on freebie players that do not attract either the commercial or sporting interest that bigger names would? When building for a better future being cheap is not financially sensible. All we will have to do is once again start from scratch.

It looks to me along with what the board has said that we are going to go with what we have and come january if we are not winning and the majority of st money is cleared we will then spend to ensure promotion. pretty much the definition of only aiming to do enough. That's not building its scrapping by for the time being. Would explain why we are loaning players and not spending any significant amount right now, the season ticket money doesn't clear all at once it is spread out past the window so we wont do anything major till jan and only if necessary .

KIng has absolutely no excuse along with the others for not putting money in now as promised. Doesn't need to be as much as the quoted 5 million. According to king if players can be identified he will stump up, well then no excuse get it done.

We need to set our sights much much higher.
