Scott Allan hands in transfer request

Recommended Posts

Stubbs has always been a classless guy, well suited to some of the clubs he has been at. You would have thought having had the horrendous time with cancer that would have given him some humility, but nope, still an absolute cnut!

Reading some of the articles from his time as an unsettled player (it seems that was at every club) he has always had a much higher opinion of himself than anyone else had, and has absolutely no problem with hypocrisy.

I really really hope that they get pumped in the playoffs, by either QotS/StM/Falk or by 11th in top league and need to spend a third season in the second tier. And a fourth etc.

HIBS will rebuff a THIRD attempt by Rangers to sign prized asset Scott Allan.

The Light Blues made a third offer believed to be in the region of £285,000 for the midfield playmaker late last night after having two previous bids of £175,000 and £225,000 rejected by the capital club.

Record Sport understands that the Edinburgh side are standing firm and their position has not changed and that Allan will not be sold to Rangers and will be staying put at Easter Road.

However Rangers are refusing to accept defeat in the transfer saga despite the fact that Hibs boss Alan Stubbs and the board of directors have repeatedly and categorically stated that the 23-year-old ex-Dundee United and WBA midfielder will not be allowed to quit in order to join their Championship rivals.

Allan has one year left on his current deal but is free to sign a pre-contract with interested parties in January.

Allan is a self-confessed boyhood Rangers supporter and has already slapped in a transfer request.

Mark Warburton’s men will kick-off the Championship season this Friday night with a match against St Mirren at Ibrox while Hibs will travel to Dumbarton to face the "Sons of the Rock" 24 hours later.
