Neil Lennon by comparison is earning £800,000 p.a at Celtic. 13th Feb 2012 - 28th July: McCoist receives zero salary voluntarily with Rangers in admin. Contrary to myths this is never repaid. He does however regain full salary and buys circa 1,000,000 shares for 1p each costing around £10,000 in a new share issue. These shares are now worth around £300,000, making him a considerable profit. Season 12/13 - McCoist agrees with Charles Green to voluntarily reduce his wage to circa £400,000 p.a. His official contract remains however on a rolling 1 year term, still at £750K p.a Season 13/14 - McCoist agrees to an increased amount of £450,000 p.a. His official contract is still £750,000 p.a Season 14/15 - McCoist remains on same terms until 11th December when he resigns and invokes a legal clause to regain his full salary of £750,000 p.a for a calendar year.
