Found him to be quite receptive and easy to talk to and seems genuinely concerned that the Club finds a solution to the problems regarding disabled facilities. A breath of fresh air compared to the patronising, condescending charlatans I've previously encountered. Now for the first time I have real belief that progress will be made and improvements ensue.

Sounds like a decent night. I'll be on the other side of the world as my wife is treating me for my birthday.

 

I hope you have,more luck than me mate. I had to cut my dream holiday to OZ short to come back to Glasgow for a funeral. With the rain we have had here I feel I have been sent from Oz to Glasgow for a custodial sentence instead oF the othe way about As I left the wife there the only comforting fact is that for two weeks I coulldn't get further away from her.:D

Thanks for the dinner speaker recruitment update BH.

 

Shame about the CEO not being able to make it, as he's an impressive speaker and comes across as a very decent guy. I'm sure with your contacts, you'll come up with another top name!

 

Personally, I'd love the opportunity to hear from one of the high profile new appointments the club have made recently, to learn about what they found when they arrived and their plans for their area of expertise.
