Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020

Just like Jason Holt....He has done pretty well.

Whether Jason Holt is what we require to challenge for the title and get back into Europe again is another debate entirely.

We clearly have no money to get players in who will improve things. That is a big worry.

Question is, why would Hearts allow him to leave on loan if he's been playing? Contracted to 2017.

Hearts play a different system to us and, although he's started 11 games and played in 20, I think he's not always their first choice winger when the likes of Nicholson and Walker are available. MW must fancy his chances of developing the lad within our style.

Holt worked out well so this is a very interesting loan signing.

FFS we finished 3rd in the league last season & got pumped 6-1 in a play off by the worst team in the SPL a few months ago (& we all know whos fault that was) The progress we are making is miraculous almost. I think it may be down to his magic hat :-)

We are only 9 points better off than this point last year.

We have faced one top tier side and were well beat. Don't know what you are basing being able to fair better in play offs on. Kilmarnock just beaten 5-1 by Dundee utd should in that case be easily beaten as we did last time

Our style has improved on the eye but the substance hasn't dramatically changed.

We still look like we might face a play-off depending on injuries and if we can find a consistent rich vein of form. We are not exactly running away with it. The league is a poor standard weaker than last year with hearts gone yet we are still fighting to win it

Hopefully we can beat Falkirk this time around and push on. Another loss like last time and we have a fight on our hands
