Cup Draw: Rangers v Kilmarnock: Sat 6th Feb - Live on Sky

Recommended Posts

RANGERS were drawn against Kilmarnock in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup tonight at Hampden Park.

The last time the two sides met was also in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox at the end of August 2014 with Nicky Law scoring two fantastic goals and Kris Boyd also on the scoresheet.

Watch the best of the action from ninety minutes in just ninety seconds in the video above. You can also check out the following about the game:

Will probably be a difficult tie.

Kilmarrnock were able to organise, concentrate and frustrate Celtic at Parkhead recently (0-0) and get a draw against them at home earlier in the season. They'll look at us, the St.Johnstone game and come to frustrate us and counter attack with menace.

In fact overall they have picked up more league points away than they have at Rugby Park. They seem to be getting their defensive act together away from home and their only 3 clean sheets on the road have come in their last three away games.

Celtic 0-0

Hamilton 0-1

St.Johnstone 0-1

We could be doing with that experienced holding midfielder for the tie.

We dont play Scottish Cup at the end of August, so it was either the league cup or not August. Cant remember myself but that stood out as being definitely incorrect.

Should be a good test against a bottom half top tier side. Looking forward to seeing how we shape up already. Hopefully get a really big crowd and no live to coverage. Edinburgh Derby is the top tie and then the tims game for the david v Goliath tie, so we shouldn't be on to.

Yes tannoch, hope it's not on telly and gets fans turning out for cup games like the good old days lol..

A total bummer again smaller crowd earlier kick-off so much for signing up to all home cup games via my season ticket square box in corner means listening to those who don't spend a penny on games becoming expert critics after match.

I think there'll still be a big crowd even if it's on telly
