'King' Kenny Miller: A Rangers legend?

Recommended Posts

Morton. Meiklejohn. McPhail. I never saw them. But they are legends because their names are known long after their playing days by the fans of other teams as well as by Rangers supporters. Geordie Young's a legend. So are Greig and Baxter. Laudrup and Gazza will be. But good servant Miller? I doubt it.

While agreeing with just about everything there, an observation from my viewpoint about Gazza - we all loved seeing the man in a Rangers jersey. But if you asked anybody outside Scotland which team they associate him with I doubt many would say Rangers. He was a star and probably a football legend. I'm old enough to have seen a few Rangers legends and wouldn't consider Gazza to be one. Just my opinion Scott.

You can be a legend for different reasons. Miller's inability to control the ball is legendary. I have seen brick walls bring the ball under control better than Kenny.

The saying "his second touch is a tackle" certainly applies to our Kenny. :seal:
