Manager of the year nominees: McIntyre, Warburton, Houston & McInally

Recommended Posts

Ross County's Jim McIntyre is the only Premiership boss in the running for PFA Scotland's Manager of the Year award.

The Staggies won the League Cup and have secured a top-six finish.

Mark Warburton is in the running after steering Rangers to the Championship title, the Challenge Cup and Scottish Cup final.

Peter Houston's work with Falkirk has been acknowledged by the players' union, while Peterhead's Jim McInally makes up the short-list of nominees.

No Ronnie ? :roflmao:

This is an absolute cast-iron certainty. If the bookies were taking bets they would already have closed the book.

No stubbs. I thought he was stein reincarnated

He was, up until the gap behind us widened again and his team of heroes started losing consistently to no marks. At that point the smoke blew away and the press realised that just saying somebody is good doesn't really make it so - there has to be some proof of it .

McIntyre. Keeps a village team in the PL, duffs the celts and wins a cup.

We duffed the Celts, have won a Cup, could possibly win another Cup and have won the league.

McIntyre should consider himself unlucky he ran up against the Magic Hat train this season otherwise he should have won it.

if it isn't Warburton then there is a great need for a Stewards Inquiry.

Funny enough if Hibs get the second place prize-money and win their 2 play-off rounds They will have had 2 extra home gates. If they then win the cup with it's financial dividends then they could say they have had a better year than Rangers. Certainly financially
