Joey Barton has had a very good season for Burnley and QPR / Newcastle were always better with him in the side. He is 29 with over 240 PL appearances and 70 championship/French PL and his misdemeanours seem to have ended in 2012 aged 25, so he was v young when some of that stuff happened. I think he will add steel and he can certainly pick a pass and puts in a shift. And no, before you ask, I'm not his agent or his mum
