Official: Joey Barton signs 2 year deal with Rangers

Any chance this thread could get back on track with the title. There is no evidence that Joey Barton is anywhere near Glasgow, but it's turned into a conversation about two blokes that I don't give two hoots about with all due respect.

I've heard on very good authority that Joey is in George Square tonight with his own band playing 'Marching Home Through Georgia' as a dedication to his wife Georgia. He is telling everyone that his reason for coming to Glasgow is that his final move will be to honour his wife for her support through his troubled times, and he heard that one side of the city does a mean rendition.

You are assuming they are getting the blame for the Barton rumours. It could easily be that he has released a different rumour which has them annoyed (seems that is the case given the Cummings info).
one of them said it came from Cummings side did they not?

Understand that the club are not happy about leaks but one way or another in Glasgow it's going to come out

Barton has already publicly praised Rangers boss Mark Warburton recently, and his tweet sent during last months' Scottish Cup semi-final could have been a key turning point in his decision making, as he watched the Gers beat favourites C*ltic.
