Justice Secretary calls on SFA to introduce ‘strict liability’ rules

Recommended Posts

Groups including Nil by Mouth have previously called on the nation's 42 senior sides to adopt stricter rules, meaning clubs would be subject to sanctions such as fines, point deductions or stadium closures as a result of unacceptable conduct by fans.

NbM? Those trolls who sent independent Celtic fans into the Rangers end in Eindhoven to blackmail our support for singing naughty songs which no-one apart the always-offended (who had no better thing to do than to get offended by watching their most hated enemies on screen) bothered about? Those people with impaired hearing when it comes to Scum games throughout the season?

BTW, this is another box of Pandora, with complaints raining in from all directions after any game ... and I can clearly envisage where those in power will lay their emphasis on when it comes to punishment and the like.

If it imposes liability on the home club for the away fans' behaviour, that's almost an incentive for the away fans to act up, isn't it?

Correct, it is ridiculous if so.

Scenario five minutes to go 4-0 us v manky mob scum fan runs on so home team (us) get hauled up and lose points would bet on this happening:flute:

SL would more than likely bring serious sporting integrity issues that may make the whole competition a bogey.

They had better think it through properly.

I can see the away fans area being fenced in.
