Celtic and Rangers are among a host of clubs keeping tabs on Greenock Morton defender Thomas O'Ware, it has been reported.

Scouts have been flooding to Cappielow to have a look at the 24-year-old who has netted 10 goals from defence this season.

The Glasgow rivals, Wolves and Birmingham have all watched the powerful Ayrshireman, according to the Mail .

O'Ware, who came through the youth set up at Rangers and Kilmarnock has a year left on his contract at Cappielow and looks set to play a key role in the Premiership play-offs with Morton on the brink of sealing their place in next month's promotion battle.

Morton's Thomas O'Ware has netted 10 times this season

Meanwhile, Gers boss Pedro Caixinha says he will decide before the end of the month which of his top team stars he wants to keep - and who is for the chop.

Caixinha has been monitoring the players he inherited from Mark Warburton closely both on match day and in the new six-day training regime.

And he says he will sit down with every player individually over the next two weeks to inform them of their fate.

I hear JJ was scouting Jordan Jones of Kilmarnock last Friday, the boy looks a talent with a decent left foot which we are badly lacking.

I prefer players to have 2 feet, They run easier.:D

Rangers are tracking Norwich midfielder Graham Dorrans as they weigh up a summer swoop

The 29-year-old looks set to be shown the door from Carrow Road at the end of the season after two years at the club

RANGERS are tracking Norwich midfielder Graham Dorrans as they weigh up a summer swoop.

SunSport can reveal the one-time Scotland international has emerged as a signing target for Ibrox boss Pedro Caixinha.

Dorrans, 29, looks set to be shown the door from Carrow Road at the end of the season after two years at the club.

And Rangers have been alerted to the possibility of snapping up the Glaswegian — a lifelong Gers fan.

They sent new No3 Jonatan Johansson to watch Dorrans in action against Preston on Monday with the midfielder scoring in a 3-1 win.

Meanwhile, Caixinha insists he’s glad Scott Brown will play in Sunday’s Old Firm crunch as he wants to beat Celtic at their best.

Hoops skipper Broony was red-carded against Ross County last weekend but appealed the decision to delay his ban.

From the previous OP

According to jellybeans on FF, JJ has been at the Norwich game on Easter Monday (17/04/17) on a scouting mission. No mentioning of whom he was looking at, players on show included Naismith, Dorrans (contracted till 2019), and James Maddison, Russell Martin (CH with a contract till this summer only)

JJ scouting at Norwich game yesterday

As title JJ was down watching Norwich v Preston. As I've previously said..Naismith wants a move back to Glasgow possibly watching him.

He's trying to get them to mutually terminate his contract so yes.

JJ was also at Rugby Park on Friday night. ... (Jamie Walker, Sam Nicholson?)

No end of speculation will arise from this, probably hyped up by HITC, football tavern and other clickbait sides ...

Alas, he was there, so why not post at least that.

Finally, some pure conjecture:

Could Myles Beerman's emergence help Rangers secure Tosin Adarabioyo this summer?

The Manchester City defender is perfect for Glasgow Rangers and would excel at Ibrox like his former teammate.

Myles Beerman’s recent emergence at Rangers shows the club’s new manager Pedro Caixinha is not afraid to give youth a chance. But could the 18-year-old’s swift upturn in fortune give one of his former Manchester City teammates something to think about?

manchester_citys_tosin_adarabioyo_in_action_with_chelseas_mason__200878.jpg

Earlier this season, HITC Sport suggested that centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo would be the ideal summer signing for a Rangers side in need of quality defensive reinforcements.

The 19-year-old is highly rated at City; the problem is the competition for places means he is likely to leave for free when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

If that happens there will be a long queue for his services, yet Beerman could be the ace in the pack for Rangers if they want to bring another exciting young player to Ibrox.

The 18-year-old left City in 2016 and the full-back will know Adarabioyo well from their time together at the Etihad Stadium.

With three consecutive appearances for Rangers under his belt Beerman looks set for a prolonged run in the side, and if Adarabioyo is smart he will consider following him to the Scottish Premiership.

The two could then continue their development alongside each other, allowing Caixinha to sign one of the most exciting teenage defenders in England and ease the pressure on the ageing Clint Hill and the less than impressive Rob Kiernan in the process.

http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/04/18/could-myle-beermans-emergence-help-rangers-secure-tosin-adarabio/

Anyone seen Norwich of late and can give a reason why he would be shown the door? He's been out for long spells (17 games) with a muscle tear and scored on his return vs PNE.

Much of this speculation seems to be out to throw a few names into the equation, than come up with the above to draw a reaction from club or player to see if that shot in the dark may actually yield some success.

Dorrans would be half decent. Possibly a good addition for building depth in the squad. Would probably ease the Scottish game.

Id like to see Hyndman being a top target whether another loan deal or permanent.

Of our loanees, Toral seems to be out of contract this summer, only a half-dubious source claims that he has signed a new deal with Arsenal.

Hyndman has a long contract with an EPL team and given his displays, which won't have go unnoticed in England, the best we can hope for is another loan. He'd sure cost 1.5 to 2.5m plus in the current English market, if not more.

Dorrans is an experienced and solid DM, and we have to remind ourselves that we'll have not that many central / defensive midfielders left this summer, as things stand right now.
