The Pre-Summer-2017 transfer rumours and hearsay all inclusive Thread

Someone like Jack would have done him a world of good. Quite a few things went wrong last season and it would be quite harsh to blame it on certain individuals. IMHO, Kiernan's season was getting off track during the first OF game and he never really recovered.

Well, even one leg of Wilson will probably outpace any Gersent member "hands down".

I would take that on and I am 60. I was a 12.2 sprinter back in the old days.

12.2 yards in 100 seconds.:D

Sunderland set to miss out on Rangers striker Martyn Waghorn after Ipswich have bid accepted

Martyn Waghorn is poised to leave Rangers and return to England after the Ibrox board accepted a bid from Ipswich Town.

Sunderland were also interested in striker Waghorn, a Wearsider who started his career at the Stadium of Light.

Simon Grayson has been searching for firepower after losing Jermain Defoe to Bournemouth.

But Ipswich have agreed a fee, thought to be in the region of £1million, for the 27-year-old.

Waghorn, a former England U21 international, moved to Scotland from Wigan in 2015 and helped Rangers back into the top flight of Scottish football.

He scored 16 SPL goals last season but has only a year remaining on his contract at Ibrox.
