Players are only worth what another club will pay for them, remains to be seen what we pay for some of our targets if we get them at all.

Maybe so. At the end of the day, much like we have put a value on Walker, Hearts have a different valuation. Same goes for Barrie. At the end of the day, we'll meet in the middle - if at all.

BTW, we apparently played a closed door 2 x 30 mins bounce game against Raith Rovers today, winning 3-0 with Morelos, Hardie, and Windass on the scoresheet. Pena, Herrera, Alnwick, Rossiter and some others played, with Windass apparently the most lively.

Or another way to look at it is worth what the parent club will let them go for. And we would be foolish to let him go for 750K unless I suppose the most likely alternative scenario is he signs a pre contract in January and goes for free.
