The Pre-Summer-2017 transfer rumours and hearsay all inclusive Thread

Being unable to beat "bus parking" is annoying and we have to solve that by getting a decent speedy winger, haven't a clue who.

Another thing I have noticed is Pedro's tactic of having all players back at corners, set pieces etc.,which IMO shows a lack of confidence in our defence.

This is a throwback to McCoist times. We need to put a couple of players forward as this will draw out the numbers of opponents and allow a possible quicker counter-attack.

With quick players like Candieas and Morellos it could prove worthwhile.

Totally agree, we could do with wingers with speed especially on the left. We have players who will score us goals IMO, but we don't have players who create enough for them or can even score themselves.

Rangers secure loan deal for Manchester City winger Aaron Nemane

Rangers have agreed a loan deal for Manchester City's teenage winger Aaron Nemane.

The 19-year-old is the first Ibrox arrival overseen by Mark Allen, who joined as director of football in July.

Allen, 54, spent seven years overseeing the youth academy set-up at City before his switch to Rangers.

The move for Nemane may mean the end of Rangers' interest in Jamie Walker after failed bids for the Hearts forward earlier in the summer.

Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has made nine other signings since the end of last season, including Portuguese wingers Dalcio and Daniel Candeias.

Contracted till summer 2018 at City, right winger who can also play on the left

NB: Before people ask ... Dalcio is not a winger. He's a central attacking midfielder who can play as a right winger (or has been employed as such before).

We needed a winger with a bit of pace - he seems to tick the boxes. That's what the DoF is there to help with.

There is no rush with Walker: if we can get him on a pre-contract then that's better than forking out £1M on him, which is too much, just to get him a year early.

Souleymane Doukara ... 25-year old French-Senegalese striker who can also play on either wing. Contract at Leeds till summer 2018 with an option attached.

Performance Data last season ... mainly as centre forward or left winger.

Does not look awe-inspiring, but this would be Scotland and the Premiership, not the English Championship. We shall see. I like Senegalese or Ghanaen attackers, at least those I see at the Afrcian Cup of Nations. Full of running, powerfull and, on their day, full of tricks.

Sounds ok, I don't want to build my hopes up but he is the type of player we need on the left, supposedly the fastest player over 100 yards in the under 23 premiership. fastest means nothing if you can't trap or dribble with a ball but it is encouraging.

There is no doubt this is a Mark Allen signing but will this maybe signal another change in tactics, Candias on one side and Namane on the other side. I remember reading something about Pedro's time in Mexico where his team were defending but leave two speedy wingers on the halfway line at either side of the pitch, these two would be the outballs and this was how he won most of his games and honors in Mexico
