The Pre-Summer-2017 transfer rumours and hearsay all inclusive Thread

FF. Guy down the pub with connections. Walker is a done deal. A full back also coming in. So many false moons I will believe it when he puts a Rangers top on.

Apparently Walker hasn't kicked a ball since February according to some jambos..........blaming a Barry McKay syndrome though they didn't put it like that

not worth a Million in my view

200k in January or zero next season

A million pounds to Hearts for Jamie Walker ... surely we're not that stupid

Regarding Walker they need to unload him because firstly he doesn't want to be there and secondly if they don't they will get a fraction of the asking price next window or absolutely nothing the window after that. And since it would appear O'Halloran wont get another game for us a swap deal might be the way to go.

Heartz may go for that especially since he seems to be doing well at SJ.

On reflection I don't think we can recall O'Halloran, then sell him??

I dunno. I only know that a club who have a player out on loan can typically bring him back if they want to. And if we want to trade him then we want to. Ideal situation. Gets us a target Pedro wants and gets a player he doesn't want off the wage bill. And could potentially save some money in the kitty for the January window. All win.

Not necessarily so. Very much depends on the terms of the loan. There are probably just as many deals that don't allow a player to return to their parent club than there are that do.

Chances of O' Halloran returning to us to be used as a makeweight in a deal for Walker are very slim. Why would he want to when he is doing well at St Johnstone, a team far more in the ascendency than Hearts presently ? And why would he want to just to appease a boss who has just told him that he isn't wanted ?

I could obviously be wrong but I think you are clutching at straws with this one.

Presumably to be with a team who despite current placings are a bigger team than SJ and who could pay more? And as you say I don't know what's in the details of loan contracts but if this were a possibility it would be the ideal solution.
