The star was later formally adopted by some organisations as a symbol for ten titles, and the ratio of one star for ten titles has become the "most common" arrangement. I note that Rangers are often ridiculed by other teams (surely not!!) for displaying 5 stars on our strip. They wont be near second place this coming season. McInnes showing Sunderland interest shows he would move and they have sold a lot of players. Take Bayern Munich for example. They proudly wear 4 stars above their club logo, after whiping up their own ranking: one star for 3 titles, two stars for 5 titles, three stars for ten titles, and four stars for 20 titles. Anyone got any questions? Anyone challenged them over it? No. Thanks, sit down! IMHO, we should scrap the stars for next season's jerseys and put LIV (or hopefully LV) somewhere on it, standing for the Latin 54 or 55 respectively.
