I watched this on TV, and I cannot think of a worse performance, not even Berwick.

We have reached a new nadir.

 

Defence, if we may call it that, was chaotic almost each and every time it was pressurised.

Midfield, was one paced, that of a pedestrian, and predictable.

Attack was not good enough to trouble a team of part timers with a substitute keeper.

 

Overall, the team failed in basic matters of skill, particularly passing, which was poor, and pressing, which seemed non existent.

As for drive, direction and determination, don't make me laugh.

If the destruction of another's house is true then ALL Rangers supporters should condemn it. I'm not defending anyone. However anecdotal evidence is not of good standing regardless if the poster whom sited it is.

I see no reason why BH shouldn't mention it on a Rangers forum, it is Rangers related after all. It will undoubtedly make the press anyway.

 

Would you go and tell a bunch of knuckle draggers who are busting up a stadium that they are bams whilst they are in the middle of their destruction ?

 

And yet we point fingers at the Tims for breaking up the likes of Fir Park and Tannadice - these elements within our fanbase really are a bunch of morons who simply don't get how they score own goal after own goal.

We don't blame others for our short comings. DB mate I'm a romantic myself. I dream of a triumphant Rangers team with class and poise but the thing that separates us from ALL others is that we look at ourselves, identify our weaknesses, our frailties and fix them simply because we hold ourselves to a higher standard. This display tonight was of team who think its easy being a winner. It is not!

 

I doubt that we thought of this being an easy tie. IMHO, we lacked the cohesion and sharpness that you only get with games, something that you generally only see from the end of September onwards. This is a typical pre-season game of which we lost and laboured against German 4th tier teams in years gone by with far better players. Get these Progres lads to Ibrox in October and we'll maul them.

 

In essence, as much as it may hurt, we went out two rounds earlier than - realistically - expected. And as long as this summer football rubbish goes on, this will happen time and again. Scotland cwill be lucky if they have even one team in Europe by the end of September.

Berwick was a fluke. Rangers battered them that day but couldn't score.

 

Chesterfield was much worse. Now this is worse than Chesterfield by miles.

These players and management team aren't worth it compo.

 

I would say give the pills to them, but they would somehow screw that up too.
