A bit risky in my view as I'm still not sure Hearts (never mind Aberdeen) will want to sell but with the window nearing its end, maybe patience is a virtue. McLean? Why? I guess I'm just annoyed because this seems to occur regularly since Warburton appeared. States the changes formation doesn't suit the tactic of long ball. Completely disagree. Two up with wide players from wing back and Candiase etc pulling inside is the perfect formation for the long ball. Using terms like "the Beaton bashing brigade" is pathetic. Who does he expect to read that sort of drivel? Who are the non Beaton bashers and do they account for more than th possible market of all Rangers fans? Obviously not so just a stupid cheap dig that loses his blog potential readers. Very poor all round . I'd call it fouled, but the ref let them do it. I have no problem with our team spirit and I reckon these guys are a different breed to the tippy tappy soft touches of the Warburton team.
