Some important housekeeping notes:   1.  You can now add your social media accounts to your profile which will appear in your user info and post block (see mine to the left).  I'll be sure to follow you on Twitter!   2.  When posting please consider the following requests: When C&Ping content from other sites, the formatting from the source may be retained (as well as stuff like pictures).  If the text looks too big or the content breaks our forum styling then plea

What's going to be ported across to the new site, if anything? Threads? PMs?
Threads, posts, private mails, banned users list and most of the main bulk of the forum.

As promised forums off at 7.30am and back on for 9am... :)

 

Remember, Baz will close the vB version of these forums tonight and the forums will be unavailable for up to 72 hours. Once the new site is live, we'll announce it on Twitter and our main site. Hopefully we'll be able to send a mass email with the new link as well.

Yeah, we should be able to set something up once we're live but a good idea for everyone to update their bookmarks once the move is completed successfully.

I'm still using the old FF shortcuts. :redface: I haven't updated them since they moved.

 

Needs too much thought to do it. :D

Yes people will keep using the old trusted routes so maybe only do it for a day or two. Is it possible to clear or put a message up to the new address for new readers finding us on Google via an old address?
