That seems to be a very selective list.

 

I seem to recall we were in negotiations with about 4 or 5 centre halfs under Warburton and didnt land any of them.

 

Also not to mention I am sure there were lots of deals we didnt get over the line for a variety of reasons that were not made public. Not all (or perhaps any) of these were due to board incompetence, but to claim they are almost 100% on getting transfers done would be to say they are the most successful club in world football at getting deals done, and their track record from what is known is certainly not that good.
