Question - is it only possible to post images from a url address ... or can you post an image from, say, a photo file on your iPad?

You can click 'choose files' at the bottom of the text box, which opens up your files.

Yes, I'm getting that too but only on my phone when I'm not logged in. From my laptop when I'm automatically logged in I don't see it. I can't get out of it and can't use my phone to access the site now.

Let me double check with my ad partner.  :)

Finally got round to trying this, only to end up more confused than ever. As far as I can see (and believe me I've looked) there is no "choose files" option in any text box. Perhaps someone can provide further help ... or confirm that posting images from anything other than url's is impossible.

When I click the text box, to post a comment/reply, there is an attachment section at the bottom; it says, "Drag files here to attach, or choose files...".

This is on my laptop, so it may be different for an iPad?

Nope, doesn't appear for me , whether on iPhone, iPad or MacBook. Perhaps you have moderator privileges?

I only get a drop down box offering two options - insert existing attachment - or - insert image from url

Still the same as it was. Tried logging out and in again, no change.

Bottom left of reply editor box - drag files to attach or choose them manually by clicking the link?

Is that option not there for you?
