There's no coincidence that when Tav plays well, we play well and win games. During the first half, nigh any cross he attempted ended with the defender in front of him. Probably this time down to conditions too, but up to December he was mediocre by his own standards. Glad he picked himself up and formed a decent partnership with Candeias. BTW, John and Murphy looked good as well. Last week Snyde and Keevins stated he was only a good English championship player. In the same breath as slabbering over Tierney as “the best full back in Scotland destined for the top pish” Tavernier reminds me of Gary Stevens but better He is the best full back of in the league by a long way.
