Hibs Looking To Cut Rangers Ticket Allocation?

Recommended Posts

Tickets for Hibernian’s home match against Celtic are now on sale online, over the phone, or in-person from the Hibernian Ticket Office with tickets for Kilmarnock and Rangers to be available early next week.

As the matches against the Glasgow clubs are Category A games, only supporters on the Hibernian database will be able to purchase these tickets.

All three matches are shaping up to be pivotal as we go into the final five fixtures as the battle for European places hots up. Make sure you’re there to back the team in these crucial matches.

Given the lack of time given to plan arrangements and sell tickets, Celtic will occupy the full South Stand. A decision will be made on splitting the South Stand for the Kilmarnock and Rangers game based on demand and sales in the coming week.

Interesting that, even after the bad blood from their disgraceful post Cup Final behaviour, a split stand with us is considered OK - and presumably Plod will not or cannot stop it happening? - yet we are not allowed to make any decision re the scum's allocation at Ibrox (or so we keep getting told).

RANGERS notes Hibernian’s decision to cut our supporters’ ticket allocation for the final match of the Scottish Premiership season at Easter Road on Sunday, May 13.

First and foremost Rangers hopes the safety of our fans, who will now be in only one section of the South Stand rather than filling it completely, will not be compromised by this decision, which beggars belief.

This is the least Rangers expects for supporters who have repeatedly proven themselves to be the most loyal in the country by selling out away ticketing allocations at opposition stadiums for years.

This was evident as we rose through the divisions when clubs the length and breadth of the country, including Hibernian, benefitted financially from the presence of our fans.

Rangers will of course bear in mind Hibernian’s decision when considering ticketing arrangements for future matches – both home and away – against this particular club.

Glad I am not on the away ticket ballots anymore as I would hate having to give anything to these b******s.

Hope the plod will be filming their scum fans the way they seem to have pleasure in filming ours.

Unless Hivs have a remarkable rethink this will happen, if the club then do nothing, they are going to look weak again. Simply say after the fixture, ''Rangers Football Club will only be taking the same number of tickets for all Hivs home games for next season.  More the statement i would prefer '' Rangers Football club will not taking up their ticket allocation for the Hivs home games next season''
