What's Happened to the Jukebox Thread?

The Roses had Reni and Squire, who are both great musicians and Squire/Brown wrote some era-defining songs.  Their b-sides were better than most other artists' best a-sides (see below).  

 

The Inspiral Carpets were run of the mill, in every sense.

Not for me. Roses were overrated and not sure they stood out any further than the Carpets or Charlatans. The Verve/Richard Ashcroft and Oasis who came immediately afterwards were the true sounds of early 90s indie pop - with nod also to The Wedding Present and early Blur- leading the battle with Grunge as Seattle's finiest Nirvana/Smashing Pumpkins et al came over from the West Coast.
