The link to Worrall is a very exciting, another big 6 4 CB who is good on the ball and good at defending apparently. A centre back "could well be" all that is added to the squad before the transfer window closes. That would be good news for Middleton because it suggests he'd be Murphy's replacement. I think the Gerrard appointment has been good for concentrating the minds of the movers and shakers, who in turn have given the OK for such a lot of generally costly movement, both in and out. If he is the player I think he was,........I recall him being quite tidy on the ball with good ability to retain possession in tight spaces but final ball was poor. It's going to be tough to get a players in in a 24 hour window.
