Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller both fined for bust up with Murty

Recommended Posts

RANGERS chief Stewart Robertson has revealed banned duo Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller will discover their Ibrox futures 'soon'.

The pair were suspended following an internal investigation following an alleged dressing room row in the aftermath of the 4-0 defeat to Celtic.

Miller is out of contract this summer but skipper Wallace has a deal until the end of next season.

Neither are likely to play for the Light Blues again but Managing Director Robertson said: “We need to wait until the investigation is completed. It’s close to being finished.

“A lot of people were there on the day so a lot of people were interviewed but we are getting towards the end of that. We will get to an answer on that soon.”

The investigation should have been completed long before now. It's unfair on the people involved that it hasn't been. Have they really not established what happened by now?  Do they need to interview everyone there? Are there many different versions of events?

Very poor by Robertson.

Timing might have something to do with getting the last game of the season out of the way before taking next step.

If things don't go well on the field, just as post semi-final, it'll draw attention away from the football.
