buster. 4,808 Posted August 25, 2018 Share Posted August 25, 2018 Man Utd had many years of success under Sir Alex Ferguson but it seems as though their board are determined to give others a chance now through three bad managerial appointments. 1. Ferguson nomination but Moyes wasn't backed by a less convinced board and what happened was inevitable. 2. Van Gaal is yesterdays man and his chartacter made for media confrontation and ridicule. Was backed and wasted a lot of money doing little better than Moyes. 3. Mourinho, 10 years earlier and maybe but The Miserable One is now past his sell-by date and causes trouble in proportion with his salary. It's not as if it's anything new, it happened at Real Madrid and Chelsea. Loads of money wasted. That isn't hindsight. I said the same as the appointments were made on historic threads on here.
