Since the war they have won the title in consecutive seasons three times and in three consecutive seasons twice. Liverpool have done consecutive seasons twice and three consecutive seasons once. The title didn’t leave the city of Liverpool between 81/82 and 87/88. Other back to back winners are Portsmouth, Wolves and Chelsea. They've got a really good, tactical coach who knows how to set up a side.
