Good to see the majority or players on 8's and 9's, showing glimpses of the standard the club demands today. If we can play like that next season then it will be relief to alot of fans (myself included) who are worrying about the future of the team, and club.

MotM : Hutton for me again.

Aye, I voted Barry. Thought he was magnificent today but to be honest anyone could have got it.

Quite simply Alan Hutton is the best player in Scotland right now - but Fergie shaded him today IMO.

I wouldn't argue with anyone picking any of the outfield players. I do not discount AM due to a bad performance. For all our domination he had to make a crucial save from the Jap that would have unfairly allowed them back in. But due to the performances of the rest of the team that is all AM had to do.

Best game from Papac, Weir his usual self. Ehiogu looked more comfortable. Hemdani keeps churning out performances. Barry ran the show first half. Thommo completed the domination of their midfield 3. Adam scored and overall played well. Novo was everywhere and got an assist, and Boyd did what he does best.

Tbh the poll winner could be any of Hutton, Fergie and Weir imo.

Was Lennon given POTM from Kingston this month? Read rumours this was to happen. Why can't a player win it two month's in a row if he deserves it which AH does.

Scotland play a friendly 30th May v Austria and quite simply Alan Hutton has to play. That's not just make the squad, he has to start.

Toughest choice of the season so far in a good way.

Hutton pipped it for me ahead of Hemdani and Weir.

But it could have been any one of 7 players. Im happy for Papac to come good with that performance.

Ehiogu looked good because Celtic played long ball football up to Jan Vinegar for the first half. He copes well with the physical battle but it's when the ball is played to feet with players running in the channels that I have concerns about him.

Saying all that he played and made his experience count.

Cant argue much with any of the ratings - all in all a good performance made to look better because Celtic didn't turn up.
